How Membership Works

451 Alliance members receive research insights in the form of research reports, newsletters, and digests. Members also receive invitations to monthly webinars with 451 Research analysts, as well as full access to our archival content in the membership portal.

Once your application has been approved, you will receive a welcome email informing you of your membership status. Then you will gain full access to the membership portal, with a unique login and password to access member benefits. You will also receive periodic email invitations to participate in web-based research surveys. Your survey responses will remain anonymous and aggregated for analysis. Your membership is sustained by continued participation in research. No fees will ever apply.

There is no cost to 451 Alliance membership. Membership is sustained through valid participation in research surveys.

Members of the 451 Alliance must be adults who are willing to honestly answer online research surveys about their technology usage. Preference is given to applicants who are currently employed and influential with regard to (or knowledgeable about) technology usage at their organization. Our membership consists of executives, directors, and managers in IT and Line of Business functions in all industries around the globe.

We take your privacy very seriously. We are fully compliant with GDPR, CASL and CAN-SPAM regulations. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

The contents of your research contributions are anonymous and will be analyzed in aggregate with other responses, so your individual responses will never be attributable to you or your organization.

Managing Your Membership

Visit the 451 Alliance website and click ‘Login’ in the upper right corner. Enter your username and password.

You may update your email address and any other personal information on the Profile Update page when logged in to your account. 

If you encounter any issues, just email the membership team at 451alliance@451alliance.com.

Submit an application online, filling it out as completely and accurately as you can. We review all applications within three business days, and you will be notified by email if you are accepted.

Your username is most likely the same as the email address associated with your account. If you're not sure what your username is, simply email the Membership Team at 451alliance@451alliance.com.

Visit the Update Password page to reset your password. It may take a few minutes to receive the automated password reset email. 

Make sure to check your junk mail folder.

Research Participation

That’s ok. Just provide answers as fully as you are able, including selecting ‘Don’t know’ where applicable.

Your membership remains active even as you switch organizations, roles or even careers. Be sure to update your member profile with your new employment and contact information. 

Our research spans a wide variety of topics, so you are sure to be qualified to contribute regardless of your profession.
