Service providers are increasingly focused on opportunities to generate revenue and improve their market positioning by directly supporting their customers' specific workloads and major IT initiatives. While service providers show increasing confidence in the development of their capabilities in these areas, many identify critical opportunities for vendors to support their efforts, either by co-developing customer-facing offerings, or by supporting the development of necessary skills through staff augmentation, outsourced support and other means. These issues and others are reflected in the responses to 451 Research’s Workloads, Key Projects and Infrastructure Evolution 2023 survey.
