451 Research's Macroeconomic Outlook, Consumer Spending, Holiday Spending Preview 2024 survey focuses on the experiences of our Population Representative sample to glean insight about how consumers are managing the current economic environment and how it is impacting their spending plans. The survey looks at factors such as overall consumer spending, spending plans versus actual spending, threats to household finances, and consumer confidence in the economy and employment. This end-of-year iteration also focuses on holiday spending plans.
