Consumer buying plans for wearable technology ended the year with a bit of a rebound. While these results are an improvement over Q4 2023, they still lag behind the spending seen at this point in 2022. However, it is lower-income households that are showing the most improvement, another sign this group is adjusting to current economic realities, with increased spending on discretionary items. Gen Z and millennials continue to be the biggest demographic drivers of wearable adoption, and as the rest of Gen Z ages into adulthood over the next five years, the impact of this group will only continue to grow.
