Following abysmal spending intent during the first three quarters, 2023 ended amid hopes of return to a positive IT spending sentiment in 2024. Small and medium-sized enterprise respondents to the Macroeconomic Outlook, SME Tech Trends survey in August 2023 seem to have shed their deep pessimism in the final quarter of 2023, while indicating a somewhat positive start to 2024 for IT spending. In our latest survey fielded in November 2023, we take a closer look at sentiment among organizations to spend on IT products and services in 2024.
