Service providers aim to skill up and transform systems

 

Service providers are actively developing new capabilities to address opportunities they see emerging to provide a more complex advisory service, including supporting customers' AI initiatives. In doing so, many suggest they expect to rely more heavily on their vendors, as they seek to develop new skill sets, look for new partnership opportunities, and turn to co-selling and co-development efforts. Many service providers expect their business to transform in a variety of facets — impacting both IT systems and business operations — as they adapt to the requirements of their evolving services, and evolving demand. In addition to being the subject of new offerings, service providers also see AI as contributing to the evolution of their infrastructure.
