Businesses express optimism for sustainability, but targets require focused investment

Most organizations have declared their targets for improving environmental impact, with the greatest focus on waste management and reducing emissions. While most of these organizations believe they are on track to meet these targets, many also say meeting their targets will still require moderate or significant investment over the next several years. Critical projects being targeted for investment include modernization of IT systems, emerging technologies that aid in sustainability and automation to improve sustainability.
