Consumer holiday spending poised to be a repeat of 2024

The Macroeconomic Outlook, Consumer Spending, Holiday Spending Preview 2025 survey focuses on the experiences of our Population Representative sample to glean insights about how consumers are managing the current economic environment and how it impacts their spending plans. The survey examines factors such as overall consumer spending, spending plans versus actual spending, threats to household finances, and consumer confidence in the economy and employment. This end-of-year iteration also focuses on holiday spending plans.
